【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국민의힘 황시혁 대구시당 부위원장이 11일 수성구청장 선거 출마를 공식 선언하며 본격적인 선거 레이스에 뛰어들었다.
황 예비후보는 이날 대구시당에서 기자회견을 열고 “정체된 수성의 성장 엔진을 다시 깨우고, 대한민국 디지털 경제의 심장을 뛰게 하겠다”며 제9회 전국동시지방선거 수성구청장 출마 의지를 밝혔다.

이날 황 예비후보는 핵심 공약으로 ‘수성 중흥 5대 설계도’를 발표했다. 주요 내용은 △수성알파시티 ‘국가 기술 안보 특구’ 조성 △노후 계획도시 특별법을 활용한 스마트 재건축 추진 △군부대 후적지에 ‘K-지식재산·디지털 금융 밸리’ 조성 △제2수성알파시티 조기 완공 및 AI 혁신허브 구축 △인공지능 기반 지능형 교통체계(ITS) 도입 등이다.
특히 그는 산업기술 보호체계 마련과 보안 인력 양성 등을 통해 수성알파시티를 디지털 경제의 거점으로 성장시키겠다고 밝혔다. 또 노후 주거지 재정비와 교통 체계 개선도 도시 경쟁력 확보를 위한 핵심 과제로 제시했다.
이어 “수성구민 중 절반 이상이 새로운 인물을 원한다는 여론은 변화에 대한 강한 요구의 방증”이라며 “수성을 전국의 인재가 몰려드는 ‘인재의 블랙홀’ 도시로 만들겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
황 예비후보는 대구 출신으로, 국민의힘 중앙당 국민통합위원과 전남 목포 당협 활동 등 중앙당 네트워크와 정책 경험을 바탕으로 수성의 변화와 혁신을 일궈내겠다고 덧붙였다.
향후 당내 공천 절차를 밟아 경선에 참여하고, 구체적인 정책 로드맵과 재원 조달 방안도 순차적으로 발표할 예정이다.

Hwang, a Daegu native, added that he will leverage his central party network and policy experience, including his time as a member of the People Power Party's National Integration Committee and his work in the Mokpo branch of the party in South Jeolla Province, to drive change and innovation in Suseong.
He will participate in the primary through the party's nomination process, and will sequentially announce a specific policy roadmap and funding plan.
