[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 인구 감소와 고령화로 시름하던 거창군 신원면이 주거와 생활SOC(사회간접자본)를 결합한 '주거플랫폼' 구축을 통해 활기 넘치는 농촌마을로 탈바꿈했다.
거창군은 12일 신원면 과정리 일원에서 지역 주민과 기관·사회단체장 등 60여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘신원면 신바람 주거플랫폼’ 개소식을 열고 본격적인 운영에 들어갔다고 밝혔다.
이번에 문을 연 '신바람 주거플랫폼'은 2021년 국토교통부 주관 공모사업에 선정되어 추진된 국책 사업이다. 주거 공간인 공공임대주택과 일자리, 그리고 주민들이 실질적으로 누릴 수 있는 생활SOC를 패키지로 공급해 정주 여건을 개선하는 것이 핵심이다.
