브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 넥슨은 좀비 생존 신작 ‘낙원: LAST PARADISE’의 글로벌 클로즈 알파 테스트(Closed Alpha Test)를 12일 실시했다고 밝혔다.
한국 시간 기준 3월 16일 오후 5시까지 5일간 스팀을 통해 PC 버전으로 참여할 수 있으며, 북미, 동아시아 및 남미 일부 지역을 대상으로 진행된다.
지난 프리 알파 테스트에 참가했던 이용자는 별도의 신청 없이 바로 플레이할 수 있으며, 테스트 기간 중에는 스팀 상점 페이지를 통해 언제든지 테스터 신청이 가능하다. 또한, 선정된 이용자는 스팀 친구 초대 기능을 통해 최대 3명에게 ‘낙원’ 테스트 권한을 선물할 수 있다.
이번 테스트에서는 기존의 ‘종로 남부’와 함께 한층 더 위험한 ‘종로 북부’ 맵을 새롭게 추가하고, ‘밤’, ‘비’, ‘새벽’, ‘이른 저녁’ 등 4종의 환경 조건을 통해 탐사의 변수를 더했다.
아울러 체력이 0이 되어도 바로 탈락하지 않고 감염도가 최대치에 이르기 전까지 탈출을 시도할 수 있는 ‘최후의 저항’ 시스템을 도입했으며, 전투와 생활 콘텐츠도 대폭 확장했다.
‘박스 쓰기’, ‘로프 다트’ 등 35종의 액티브·패시브 스킬을 활용해 전략적인 생존 액션을 펼칠 수 있으며, 70종 이상의 가구를 ‘숙소’에 배치하고 160개 이상의 퀘스트를 수행하는 등 콘텐츠를 경험할 수 있다.
‘낙원’의 세계관을 엿볼 수 있는 신규 시네마틱 영상도 공개했다. 영상에는 이용자가 목숨만 겨우 건진 채로 브로커를 통해 ‘낙원’에 밀입국하는 프롤로그 스토리가 담겨있다.
