대전 유성구, 새 학기 맞아 초등학교 주변 불법광고물 집중 정비

대전 유성구가 27일까지 관내 42개 초등학교 주변 불법광고물을 집중적으로 제거하며 어린이 통학 안전 환경을 만든다. 새 학기를 앞두고 보행 안전 확보와 교육 환경 보호를 최우선으로 한 조치다.

이번 정비는 어린이보호구역 위법 사례에 무관용 원칙을 적용한다. 자진 철거 시정명령 후 이행되지 않으면 과태료·이행강제금 등 강력 처분을 내린다.

올해 들어 이미 현수막 7,422건, 벽보 1,688건, 입간판 71건 등 총 9,181건을 정비하며 도시 미관 개선에 앞장서고 있다.

정용래 구청장은 “어린이 안전을 위협하는 불법 요소를 뿌리 뽑겠다”며 “지속 관리로 쾌적한 통학로를 조성하겠다”고 밝혔다. 유성구는 학부모들의 안심 통학을 위한 노력을 강화한다.
