13일 속초시시설관리공단 산하 청소년상담복지센터에 따르면, 자살 및 자해 등 고위기 청소년을 위한 치유 지원 사업인 '다움'이 2026년 글로벌 보조금 연계 사업으로 본격적인 닻을 올린다.
센터는 본 사업 추진에 앞서 위기 청소년을 조기에 찾아내고 학교 현장과의 스킨십을 강화하기 위해, 오는 16일부터 31일까지 관내 초·중·고교를 훑는 '찾아가는 사업설명회'를 전격 운영한다.
'다움' 사업은 최근 늘어나는 자해 경험 청소년들이 고가의 흉터 치료비 탓에 적절한 조치를 받지 못하는 현실을 타개하고자 기획됐다. 전문적인 흉터 치료와 심리 상담을 하나로 묶은 '원스톱 맞춤형 치유 시스템'을 구축한 것이 핵심이다.
특히 이번 프로젝트는 속초은솔로타리클럽과 손잡고 국제로타리재단의 글로벌 보조금을 든든한 실탄으로 확보하며 추진력을 얻었다. 당장 이달부터 대상 청소년들은 신체적 상처 치료와 마음의 병을 치유하는 전문 상담을 동시에 지원받게 된다.
