이재명 대통령이 14일 자신의 조폭 연루설 관련해 "(언론이) 추후 정정은 고사하고 사실 보도조차 없다”고 했다.
이 대통령은 이날 오전 엑스(X·구 트위터)에 "이재명 조폭 연루설을 확인도 없이 무차별 확대 보도한 언론들이 이런 판결이 나는데도 사과는커녕 추후 정정 보도 하나 없다”며 이같이 적었다.
자신의 지난 2022년 20대 대선 후보 시절 ‘조폭 연루설’을 제기했던 장영하 변호사의 공직선거법 위반 사건에 대법원이 유죄 판결을 확정한 내용을 공유하며 “진실·정의가 강물처럼 흐르는 맑은 세상을 희구한다”고 했다.
그러면서 “세상엔 저를 여전히 조폭 연루자로 아는 사람들이 많을 것”이라며 “그래서 사실 확인 없이 보도하는, 의도적으로 조작 왜곡 보도하는, 근거 없는 허위 주장을 그대로 옮기는 무책임한 언론은 흉기보다 무서운 것”이라고 했다.
