6·3 지방선거에서 공주시장 재도전에 나선 김정섭 더불어민주당 예비후보가 15일 선거대책위원회를 공식 출범시키며 본격적인 선거전에 돌입했다.
이날 오후 공주시 신관동 선거사무소에서 열린 선대위 출범식에는 임재문 전 민주평화통일자문회의 공주시지회장과 배기선 김대중재단 사무총장을 비롯한 민주당 원로 인사, 시민사회 대표, 청년·소상공인 등 300여 명이 참석해 ‘공주 재도약’을 다짐했다.
상임선거대책위원장에는 임재문 전 지회장이, 상임고문 겸 후원회장에는 4선 국회의원을 지낸 배기선 사무총장이 이름을 올렸다. 또 원로급 당 인사들이 공동자문위원단으로 참여하고, 20여 명의 공동선대본부장이 직능·지역별로 가세해 ‘매머드급 선거조직’이 꾸려졌다.
