【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군농업기술센터는 16일 음성명작관에서 제19기 음성농업대학 교육생이 참석한 가운데 개강식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
음성농업대학은 급변하는 농업환경에 대응하고 지역농업을 선도할 전문 인력을 양성하기 위해 운영되는 대표적인 장기 교육으로, 올해는 복숭아, 스마트시설원예과정 등 총 2개 학과가 운영된다.
개강식에는 교육생 복숭아 과정 30명, 스마트시설원예 과정 27명의 교육생이 참석한 가운데 교육생 선서에 이어 오리엔테이션 등이 진행됐다. 교육 운영 방향과 상세한 학사 일정이 안내됐으며, 교육생 간 소통, 화합의 시간도 이어졌다.
제19기 음성농업대학은 3월 개강을 시작으로 오는 10월 말까지 약 8개월간 주 1회 과정별 20회 90시간 강의로 구성된다.
현장 중심의 실습과 이론교육을 병행하고, 농번기에 온라인교육을 실시하는 등 농업인의 전문성 향상과 지속 가능한 경영 역량 강화에 초점을 맞췄다.
채기욱 군 농업기술센터 소장은 “농업경영 변화에 대응할 수 있는 맞춤형 교육을 통한 농업인 육성이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “농업인대학에 참가한 모든 교육생이 만족할 수 있도록 운영에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
