【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 개정 「담배사업법」 시행(2026년 4월 24일)을 앞두고, 합성 니코틴 전자담배를 포함한 모든 전자담배 제품이 법령상 ‘담배’에 포함되는 내용과 법 시행일 전 담배소매인 지정을 신청할 것을 집중 홍보하고 있다.
이번 개정의 핵심은 담배의 정의를 기존 ‘연초의 잎’을 원료로 한 제품에서 ‘연초 또는 니코틴을 원료로 제조한 제품’으로 확대한 데 있다.
이에 따라 합성 니코틴을 사용한 액상형 전자담배도 일반 연초담배와 동일하게 「담배사업법」의 적용을 받는다. 건강경고 표시, 광고 제한, 금연구역 내 사용 금지, 판매관리 의무 등 관련 규제가 동일하게 적용된다.
