대구 대표 테마파크인 이월드가 이달 21일부터 다음 달 5일까지 약 3주간 ‘이월드 벚꽃축제’를 연다. ‘블라썸 피크닉’이라는 이름으로 열리는 이번 축제는 봄을 알리는 이월드의 대표 행사다.
축제의 무대는 83타워 아래 약 1.5km 길이로 이어지는 벚꽃길. 낮에는 온통 분홍빛으로 물든 산책로가 시민들의 산책길을 부르고, 밤이면 ‘레인보우 블라썸 라이팅’이 벚꽃길을 오색빛으로 수놓는다. 조명이 만들어내는 환상적인 야경이 매년 많은 시민과 관광객의 카메라 셔터를 멈추지 않게 한다.
