【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북대학교에 따르면 신한은행 충북영업부로부터 학생들의 건강한 대학생활 지원을 위한 발전기금을 기탁받았다고 밝혔다.
충북대는 3월 16일 오후 2시 대학 본부에서 신한은행 충북영업부 금융센터로부터 발전기금 2천만 원을 기탁받고 전달식을 개최했다.
이날 전달식에는 한병기 신한은행 충북 동부본부장과 장성윤 충북영업부 금융센터 지점장을 비롯해 박유식 충북대 총장 직무대리, 김경열 대외협력본부장 등 양 기관 관계자들이 참석해 기탁의 의미를 나누고 지역사회와 대학 간 협력 방안에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
충북대는 이번에 전달받은 발전기금을 학생들의 안정적인 대학 생활을 돕기 위한 학생 복지 사업 등에 활용할 계획이다. 대학 측은 학생들이 보다 나은 환경에서 학업에 집중할 수 있도록 기탁금을 효율적으로 사용할 방침이다.
한병기 신한은행 충북 동부본부장은 “지역 대학생들이 학업에 집중하고 건강한 대학 생활을 이어갈 수 있도록 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바라는 마음에서 기탁하게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 성장하는 금융기관으로서 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
박유식 충북대 총장 직무대리는 “학생들의 복지 향상과 건강한 대학 생활을 위해 뜻깊은 기탁을 해주신 신한은행 충북영업부에 깊이 감사드린다”며 “기탁금의 취지를 살려 학생들이 보다 안정적인 환경에서 학업과 대학 생활에 전념할 수 있도록 소중히 활용하겠다”고 말했다.
