【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 정신건강복지센터는 오는 26일까지 2026년 진천군 생명 존중 안심마을 사업 설명회를 개최한다고 17일 밝혔다.
군은 2024년부터 생명 존중 안심마을 사업에 참여하고 있으며, 현재 진천읍·덕산읍·광혜원면·초평면 4개 지역에서 총 37개 기관이 참여해 사업을 추진하고 있다.
해당 사업은 자살 예방을 위한 지역사회 안전망 구축과 생명 존중 문화 조성을 목표로 추진되는 사업이다.
보건의료 · 교육 · 복지 · 지역사회(유통 판매 포함) · 공공서비스 등 다양한 분야의 기관이 협력해 지역 맞춤형 자살 예방 체계를 구축하는 데 중점을 두고 있다.
이번 설명회는 17일 진천읍을 시작으로 △18일 덕산읍 △25일 광혜원면 △26일 초평면 순으로 진행되며, 지역별 생명 존중 안심마을 참여기관의 대표와 사업 담당자가 참여할 예정이다.
설명회에서는 2026년 생명 존중 안심마을 사업 추진 방향과 세부 운영계획을 안내하고, 영역별 역할을 공유하며 참여기관 간 협력체계 강화 방안에 대해 논의한다.
특히, 설명회에서의 질의응답과 의견수렴을 통한 현장 의견은 추후 사업에 반영해 나갈 예정이다.
