【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 괴산군은 17일 소수면 수리 일원에서 아보리스트 실내훈련센터 준공식 및 개장식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사에는 송인헌 괴산군수, 김낙영 괴산군의회 의장, 지역 주민 등 100여 명이 참석했다.
행사는 사업 경과보고를 시작으로 기념사 및 축사, 기념 촬영, 시설 견학, 아보리스트(수목관리 전문가) 시연 관람 순으로 진행됐다.
실내훈련센터는 총사업비 20억 원을 투입해 연면적 475.44㎡ 규모로 건립됐다.
기상 여건과 계절적 제약을 최소화한 실내형 교육훈련 시설로 전국에서 처음으로 시도된 모델이다.
센터는 아보리스트 직무에 필요한 로프 활용, 안전장비 운용, 전정 및 가지치기, 구조 대응 등 다양한 교육과 훈련이 가능하도록 조성됐다.
특히, 실제 현장과 유사한 환경을 구현해 교육생의 안전 수칙 준수와 실무 적응력을 동시에 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.
센터는 사단법인 한국산림레포츠협회(회장 이교원)가 위탁 운영과 교육을 전담할 계획이다.
송인헌 군수는 “전국 최초로 조성된 아보리스트 실내훈련센터가 대한민국을 대표하는 산림교육장으로 자리매김하길 기대한다”며 “현장 중심의 교육과 훈련을 확대해 전문인력 양성과 아름다운 경관 조성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 군은 전국 지자체 최초로 아보리스트 전문 인력을 채용하고 지금까지 총 439명의 수강생을 배출하며 지역경제 활성화와 생활 인구 증가에 기여한 것으로 평가 받고 있다.
