대전·충남 통합 무산 따른 대안 마련 촉구 “시장 임기 단축 용단 필요”

더불어민주당 대전시장 경선 후보인 장철민 의원이 경쟁자인 허태정, 장종태 후보를 향해 ‘충청권 통합 방안’을 주제로 한 무제한 토론을 공식 제안하며 기선 제압에 나섰다.
장 의원은 18일 대전시의회에서 기자회견을 열고, 최근 대전·충남 행정통합이 무산된 상황을 언급하며 "통합의 불씨를 어떻게 되살릴 것인지에 대해 후보들이 시민 앞에 명확한 비전과 대안을 증명해야 할 책임이 있다"고 강조했다.
