이재명 대통령이 19일 중동 상황 관련해 "민생 전반에 대해 선제 조치가 필요하다”며 “청와대·모든 정부 부처는 지금이 경제 전시 상황인 점을 엄중한 자세로 인지해달라”고 했다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후 청와대에서 열린 제28차 수석보좌관회의 모두 발언에서 이같이 말한 후 “지금은 속도가 생명으로 민생 경제 충격을 덜고 경기 회복 동력을 계속 살려나갈 수 있는 방향으로 편성해야 한다”고 했다.
그러면서 "중동 상황으로 충격 큰 취약 계층·소상공인·기업들 피해를 실질적으로 줄이고 민생 현장에서 자금이 원활하게 순환되도록 빠르게 설계해 달라”고 했다.
또 스토킹 범죄 관련해 "스토킹 관련 강력 범죄가 끊이지 않는다"며 경찰의 스토킹 신고 전수 조사·제도 보완을 지시했다.
이어 "최근 남양주서 피해자 긴급 요청에도 불구 안이한 대응 때문에 끔찍한 범죄를 막지 못한 게 아닌가 생각 된다"며 "경찰은 접수된 스토킹 신고를 신속 전수 조사하고 피해자 보호 조치를 최대한 빠르게 취하도록 조치해 달라"고 했다.
더불어 "제도 미비 탓만 할 게 아닌 있는 제도라도 최대 활용해 국민을 보호하는 게 정부 책임"이라며 "같은 비극이 재발 않도록 엄정하고 빈틈없는 제도 보완도 서둘러 달라"고 했다.
이 대통령은 BTS(방탄소년단) 공연 관련해선 "최근 대한민국을 찾는 해외 관광객이 계속 늘고 있고 주말 BTS 공연 때문에 외국인 관광객이 일시적 급증해 인천공항 입국장이 매우 혼잡한 상황"이라며 "현장 혼란·불편을 줄이기 위한 적극 대처가 필요하다"고 했다.
또 "모레 광화문 공연 앞두고 관광객이 추가 유입될 걸로 보이는데 필요 인력·장비를 집중 신속 투입해야 한다"며 "입국장 모습이 그 나라 첫인상을 좌우하는데 이번 기회에 공항 입국 서비스 전반을 종합 점검하고 보완 필요 사항은 빠르게 개선하라"고 덧붙였다.
