브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자가 KB라이프, KB골든라이프케어와 손잡고 시니어의 쾌적하고 안전한 생활을 지원하는 디지털 헬스케어 서비스 고도화에 나선다.
삼성전자는 KB라이프, KB골든라이프케어와 지난 18일 삼성전자 한국총괄 오치오 부사장, KB라이프 김효동 전무, KB골든라이프케어 조용범 대표이사가 참석한 가운데, 서울 강남구 KB라이프타워에서 ‘디지털 기반 시니어 헬스케어 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)’을 체결했다고 20일 밝혔다.
KB라이프는 생명보험업을 운영하는 KB금융그룹의 계열사로, 시니어 라이프케어 플랫폼을 구축하며 사업 영역을 확장하고 있다.
KB골든라이프케어는 KB라이프의 요양사업 자회사로 위례·서초·은평·광교·강동 등 도심형 요양시설을 운영하고 있으며, 디지털 기반 돌봄 서비스 강화를 위해 삼성전자와 협력해 은평·강동 빌리지에 ‘스마트싱스 프로’와 AI 가전을 도입한 바 있다.
이번 협력은 삼성전자의 혁신 제품과 기술력, KB라이프의 시니어 케어 전문성과 KB골든라이프케어의 현장 운영 경험을 결합해 시니어에 특화된 웨어러블 기반 건강관리 서비스, AI 가전과 ‘스마트싱스 프로’ 기반의 주거 환경 솔루션을 고도화하기 위해 마련됐다.
신규 서비스와 솔루션은 향후 새롭게 문을 열 요양시설 및 시니어타운에 적용될 예정이다.
시니어 특화 건강관리 서비스는 삼성전자의 ‘갤럭시 워치’ 등 웨어러블 기기와 디지털 헬스케어 서비스 ‘삼성 헬스’를 중심으로 구성될 예정이다.
요양시설 입주자의 심박수, 혈중 산소포화도, 활동량, 수면 패턴 등을 갤럭시 워치를 통해 측정하고, 시니어에 특화 개발된 ‘삼성 헬스’로 측정된 건강 정보를 모니터링하며, 이상 징후 발생 시 알림을 제공해 보다 체계적으로 건강 관리를 할 수 있도록 할 계획이다.
또한, 삼성전자는 AI 기반 B2B 솔루션인 ‘스마트싱스 프로’를 중심으로 시니어 거주 환경 관리를 위한 특화 솔루션을 고도화할 예정이다.
시니어 거주 공간에 있는 AI 가전을 ‘스마트싱스 프로’에 연결해 실내 온∙습도 및 공기질을 쾌적한 상태로 유지하고, 가전 통합 제어를 통해 에너지 사용량도 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 할 계획이다.
안전 관리 기능도 강화된다. 일례로, 입주자가 개인 화장실에 일정 시간 이상 체류할 경우, 설치된 재실 센서가 이를 감지해 ‘스마트싱스 프로’로 연동된 스피커와 조명을 통해 이상 상황을 알리고, 담당자가 즉각 대응할 수 있도록 지원하는 식이다.
삼성전자 한국총괄 오치오 부사장은 “이번 협약을 통해 삼성전자의 ‘스마트싱스 프로’와 ‘삼성 헬스’가 시니어 케어 현장에서 새로운 가치를 증명할 수 있을 것”이라며 “빠르게 성장하는 시니어 시장 수요에 대응하기 위해 협력을 강화해 나갈 예정이다”고 말했다.
