이번 프로그램은 석탄산업의 역사와 우리나라 산업 발전 과정을 이해하고, 미래 에너지에 대한 관심과 인식을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.
참여 청소년들은 문경 에코월드에서 석탄 등 화석연료와 에코에너지에 대한 복합미디어 체험을 통해 지속가능한 생태 에너지에 대해 관찰하는 시간을 가졌다.
김병노 관장은 “청소년들이 이번 체험을 통해 미래 에너지에 대한 이해를 넓히고 이를 지역사회와 연결해 생각해 볼 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
