충청남도가 도내 수출 챔피언 육성을 위해 지난해 선정된 글로벌 강소기업 7곳에 기업별 2천만원씩 총 1억 4천만원을 지원한다.
22일 충남도에 따르면, 중소벤처기업부 주관 글로벌 강소기업 프로젝트 2년 차 기업들을 대상으로 해외시장 개척 맞춤형 프로그램을 다음 달부터 본격 가동한다. 지원 기업은 서북, 뉴앤뉴, 케이티이, 이든테크, 휘일, 지덕산업, 원강금속 등이다.
이들 기업은 충남경제진흥원을 통해 전시회 참가, 해외 홍보, 국제 인증 취득, 시제품 개발, 인사·회계 교육, 법률 자문 등 수출 과정별 필요 사업을 선택해 추진한다. 충남도는 기업 현장 수요를 반영한 실질적 지원으로 해외 진출 장벽을 낮추고 글로벌 경쟁력을 키운다는 방침이다.
충남도는 이달 말 새로 지정될 '2026 글로벌 강소기업'에도 유사한 지원을 확대 적용, 도내 수출기업의 선순환 성장을 뒷받침할 계획이다.
안호 충남도 산업경제실장은 "수출 중소기업은 지역 경제의 숨은 실력자"라며 "현장 목소리를 반영한 성장 지원으로 세계 무대에서 도내 기업의 위상을 높이겠다"고 밝혔다.

South Chungcheong Province is providing a total of 140 million won—20 million won per company—to seven Global Strong SMEs selected last year to foster export champions within the province.
According to South Chungcheong Province on the 22nd, a customized program for pioneering overseas markets will be fully launched next month for companies in their second year of the Global Strong SME Project, organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The supported companies include Seobuk, New & New, KTE, Eden Tech, Whiil, Jideok Industry, and Wonkang Metal.
Through the Chungnam Economic Promotion Agency, these companies will select and implement necessary projects for each stage of the export process, such as participating in exhibitions, overseas promotion, acquiring international certifications, developing prototypes, HR and accounting training, and legal consulting. The province plans to lower barriers to overseas expansion and enhance global competitiveness through practical support that reflects the on-site needs of the companies.
