같은날 박대기 예비후보는 선거공보물의 디지털 전환을 제안하며 환경과 행정 효율성을 강조하는 정책 행보에 나섰다.
박대기 후보는 “매 선거마다 반복되는 대량의 종이 공보물이 환경 오염을 유발하고 있다”며 “지난 제21대 대통령선거에서만 5억 8천만 장의 공보물이 발송됐고, 제작 과정에서 수만 그루의 나무가 사용됐다”고 지적했다.
이에 대한 대안으로 모바일·전자문서 기반 공보 시스템 도입을 제시하며 “유권자가 스마트폰이나 이메일로 공보물을 받아볼 수 있도록 해 종이 사용을 획기적으로 줄이겠다”고 밝혔다.
