충남도가 미래 신성장 동력 창출과 민생경제 안정을 위해 정책 전문가들과 머리를 맞댔다.
이를 위해 충남도는 23일 도청 중회의실에서 ‘2026년 정책자문위원회 산업경제통상분과 회의’를 개최하고, 올해 충남 경제의 향방을 결정지을 주요 정책 추진 방향을 집중적으로 논의했다.
이번 회의는 급변하는 글로벌 경제 환경 속에서 충남의 주력 산업 경쟁력을 강화하고, 실리 중심의 경제 외교를 통해 지역 경제의 활로를 찾기 위해 마련되었다.
충남도는 ‘미래 신성장 동력 창출’과 ‘글로벌 통상 강화’를 양대 축으로 설정하고, 이에 따른 세부 실행 과제들을 자문위원들과 공유했다.
주요 논의 사항으로는 먼저 인공지능(AI), 모빌리티, 바이오, 탄소중립 등 4차 산업혁명을 주도할 미래 신산업의 체계적인 육성 방안이 다뤄졌다.
특히 소재·부품·장비 기업들이 탄탄한 성장 사다리를 타고 중견기업으로 도약할 수 있는 생태계를 조성하는 데 역량을 집중하기로 했다.
이와 함께 경영 위기에 처한 소상공인을 돕기 위한 저금리 정책자금 지원과 판로 확대 등 민생경제에 활력을 불어넣을 실질적인 대책들도 심도 있게 검토되었다.
투자 통상 분야에서는 단순한 교류를 넘어선 전략적 외자 유치와 해외 시장 개척이 핵심 과제로 제시되었고, 해외 투자 유치 역량을 제고하고 도민들이 체감할 수 있는 국제 협력을 강화함으로써 충남의 경제 영토를 넓혀갈 계획이다.
