계양소방서에 따르면, 이번 점검은 화재 발생 시 신속하고 원활한 대응을 위해 추진되는 것으로, 3월부터 5월까지 약 3개월간 진행된다.
점검 대상은 관내 소방용수시설과 비상소화장치 일체로, 설치 주체가 다른 공영소화전과 사설시설도 포함된다.
계양소방서는 이번 점검을 통해 소화수량의 정상 작동 여부, 몸통 및 관로 등 주요 부위 상태, 불법 주정차 등 사용 장애 요인, 소방용수 표지 설치 상태 등을 중점적으로 확인할 계획이다.
