대전테크노파크(이하 대전TP) 김우연 원장이 대한민국 지역 산업 육성의 핵심 거버넌스인 한국테크노파크진흥회 부회장으로 선출되며, 대전의 전략산업 역량을 전국 무대로 확장하는 견인차 역할을 맡게 됐다.
대전TP는 지난 20일 서울 한국프레스센터에서 개최된 한국테크노파크진흥회 정기총회에서 김우연 원장이 신임 부회장으로 선출됐다고 밝혔다. 이번 인사는 지난해 진흥회 감사를 역임하며 조직 운영의 효율성을 높이고 정책 추진을 뒷받침해온 김 원장의 전문성과 리더십을 높이 평가받은 결과로 풀이된다.
한국테크노파크진흥회는 전국 19개 테크노파크를 아우르며 중앙정부 및 유관기관과의 정책 가교 역할을 수행하는 전국 단위 허브 조직이다. 특히 지역별 전략산업 육성과 중소기업 기술혁신 지원을 통해 국가 균형발전의 실질적인 실행 기구 역할을 담당하고 있다.
김 원장은 이번 부회장 취임을 기점으로 전국 테크노파크 간의 연대와 협력을 주도할 계획이다. 특히 대전시가 집중 육성 중인 ‘ABCD+QR’(우주, 바이오, 반도체, 국방, 양자, 로봇) 산업의 혁신 성과를 전국적으로 확산시키고, 대전이 미래 산업의 핵심 거점으로 자리매김하는 데 행정력을 집중할 방침이다.
김우연 신임 부회장은 “이번 선출은 대전TP가 쌓아온 혁신 성과를 전국적으로 인정받은 유의미한 결과”라며 “전국 19개 테크노파크와 긴밀히 소통하며 정부의 ‘5극 3특’ 국가균형발전 전략에 발맞추는 것은 물론, 대전이 대한민국 미래 산업을 선도하는 전략적 허브가 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 소감을 전했다.
또한 김 부회장은 “연구개발(R&D)부터 사업화, 글로벌 진출에 이르는 전주기 산업 생태계를 공고히 하여 전략산업 중심의 기업 성장을 이끌고, 미래 신산업 생태계 조성을 앞당기겠다”는 포부도 덧붙였다.
