【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시립도서관은 오는 30일까지 2026년 제8회 ‘책읽는 충주’ 독서운동의 대표 도서 선정을 위한 시민 투표를 실시한다고 24일 밝혔다.
올해 후보 도서는 시민들의 추천 도서 가운데 사서로 구성된 선정단의 심도 있는 검토를 거쳐 부문별 각 5권씩, 총 10권이 1차 후보로 선정됐다.
어린이 부문 후보 도서는 △꼬꼬붱(홍홍) △시간 유전자(김혜정) △쥐들 G들(강담마) △해든 분식(동지아) △호랑이를 부탁해(설상록) 등 5권이다.
일반 부문 후보 도서는 △박곰희 연금 부자 수업(박곰희) △양면의 조개껍데기(김초엽) △여름을 한 입 베어 물었더니(이꽃님) △젊음의 나라(손원평) △혼모노(성해나) 등 5권이 선정됐다.
시는 시민 투표 결과를 바탕으로 후보군을 압축한 뒤 도서관운영위원회의 최종 심의를 거쳐 부문별 각 1권씩 총 2권의 대표 도서를 확정할 계획이다.
투표는 충주시립도서관 누리집을 통한 온라인 참여와 시립도서관 본관 및 4개 분관, 시청, 관내 서점 등에 설치된 투표판에 스티커를 부착하는 방식으로 참여할 수 있다.
시 관계자는 “시민이 직접 선정한 도서를 통해 한 해 동안 함께 읽고 소통하는 의미 있는 독서운동”이라며 “시민들의 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.
