브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자 2026년형 스마트 TV와 스마트 모니터에 적용된 보안 솔루션이 국제 공통평가기준(Common Criteria, CC) 인증을 획득했다.
CC 인증은 정보보호가 필요한 제품의 보안성을 평가하는 국제 표준 인증으로 전 세계 36개국이 상호 인정하는 평가 인증이다.
삼성전자는 2015년부터 스마트 TV에 자체 보안 솔루션 ‘삼성 녹스(knox)’를 적용해 올해로 12년간 CC 인증을 받았다.
또한, 올해 업계 최초로 스마트 모니터도 CC 인증을 획득하며 업계 최고 수준의 보안 성능을 입증했다.
이번 인증은 삼성 스마트 TV와 스마트 모니터에 적용된 삼성 녹스의 핵심 보안 역량에 대한 엄격한 검증을 통해 수여됐다.
검증 항목은 △커널 영역의 무결성을 실시간으로 모니터링하는 ‘SIM(System Integrity Monitor)’ △웹 브라우저 사용 시 피싱 사이트 접속을 차단하는 ‘WBS(Web Browser Security)’ △실행 파일의 서명을 검증해 비인가 실행을 차단하는 ‘UEP(Unauthorized Execution Prevention)’이다.
이 외에도 삼성 녹스는 △하드웨어 기반 독립 보안 구역인 ‘트러스트존(TrustZone)’ △민감 정보를 보안칩에 별도로 보호하는 ‘녹스 볼트(Knox Vault)’ △기기 간 보안 상태를 통합 관리하는 ‘녹스 매트릭스(Knox Matrix)’ 등 다중 보안 구조를 통해 강력한 보안 환경을 제공한다.
녹스 볼트는Neo QLED 8K와 M9, M8 모니터에 적용되며, 녹스 매트릭스는 2024년 이후 TV, 모니터 전모델에 적용된다.

The verification items included: "SIM (System Integrity Monitor)," which monitors kernel integrity in real-time; "WBS (Web Browser Security)," which blocks access to phishing sites when using a web browser; and "UEP (Unauthorized Execution Prevention)," which blocks unauthorized execution by verifying the signatures of executable files. In addition to this, Samsung Knox provides a robust security environment through a multi-layered security structure that includes ‘TrustZone,’ a hardware-based independent security zone; ‘Knox Vault,’ which protects sensitive information separately on a security chip; and ‘Knox Matrix,’ which manages the security status of devices in an integrated manner.
