전북 순창군이 라오스 현지 면접 절차를 거쳐 선발해 입국한 공공형 외국인 계절근로자 환영식을 개최했다.
순창군은 고령화와 농촌 인구 감소로 심화되고 있는 인력난 해소를 위해 실효성 높은 수급 체계 구축에 행정력을 모으고 있는 가운데 지난 24일 농업기술센터 2층 다목적 강당에서 공공형 계절근로자 환영식을 가졌다고 25일 밝혔다.
이날 환영식은 외국인 계절근로자들의 안정적인 현장 정착 지원과 근무 환경 안내를 위해 마련됐다.
올해 순창군이 도입하는 공공형 계절근로자는 총 40명으로 라오스 현지 면접을 통해 선발됐다.
이들은 지역 농가에 순차적으로 배치돼 농번기 핵심 작업을 지원한다.
1차로 21명이 입국했으며 19명은 4월 중순께 입국할 예정이다.
