(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 계양구가 25일, 봄을 맞아 계양아라온 일대에 대규모 꽃 식재를 완료하고, 포시즌가든을 중심으로 수선화가 개화하기 시작하며 화사한 봄 경관을 선보이고 있다고 밝혔다.
계양구에 따르면, 계양아라온에는 수국, 루피너스 등 20여 종 약 2만여 본의 다양한 봄꽃이 식재돼 산책로와 수변 공간을 따라 다채로운 색감을 더하고 있다.
특히 수향원에서 귤현대교 방면에 조성된 ‘포시즌가든’에는 3만 4천여 본의 수선화가 순차적으로 꽃을 피우고 있으며, 오는 3월 28일부터 4월 12일까지 절정을 이룰 것으로 예상된다.
물길을 따라 길게 이어진 꽃길과 수선화 군락은 계양아라온 특유의 탁 트인 수변 경관과 어우러져, 도심 속에서는 쉽게 접하기 어려운 봄 풍경을 선사한다.
