더불어민주당 황인호 대전 동구청장 예비후보가 특정 후보의 거부로 무산된 동구청장 후보자 토론회의 개최를 강력히 촉구하고 나섰다.
황 예비후보는 25일 입장문을 통해 "민주주의의 기본은 공개된 토론과 이를 통한 후보의 자질 및 도덕성 검증"이라며 "동구청장 후보 4인 공개 토론회가 단 한 명의 반대로 끝내 무산된 것은 동구민에 대한 책임을 저버린 매우 유감스러운 일"이라고 비판했다.
