【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군보건소는 25일 돌봄매니저 양성 프로그램 ‘건강한 이음’을 시작했다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 삼보사회복지관, 정신건강복지센터와 협력해 취약계층의 건강관리 접근성을 높이고 예방 중심의 돌봄체계를 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.
교육 대상은 지역에서 노인돌봄 서비스를 수행하는 생활지원사 50명이다.
프로그램은 이달부터 6월까지 총 4회 과정으로 진행된다.
교육 과정은 △3월 약물복용 관리 교육 △4월 기본검진 및 심뇌혈관질환 예방관리 교육 △5월 재활 및 근력강화운동 교육 △6월 정신건강 및 자살예방 교육 등 현장에서 바로 활용할 수 있는 내용으로 구성됐다.
프로그램을 통해 양성된 생활지원사는 ‘돌봄매니저’ 역할을 맡아 주 1회 취약계층 가정을 방문한다.
방문을 통해 건강관리 방법을 안내하고 건강 상태를 확인하는 한편, 건강위험군이나 관리 사각지대에 놓인 신규 대상자를 발굴해 보건소와 연계하는 역할을 수행한다.
군은 이번 사업이 지역사회 내 건강관리 공백을 줄이고 취약계층을 보다 체계적으로 지원하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
조미정 보건소장은 “생활지원사를 돌봄매니저로 양성해 지역 어르신과 취약계층이 보다 건강하고 안전하게 생활할 수 있도록 도울 것”이라며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 맞춤형 보건·의료 서비스를 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
