대전시가 침체된 골목상권 살리기에 나선다.
이를 위해 온라인 소비 확산으로 오프라인 상권이 위축된 가운데, '2026년 골목경제 활성화 사업'으로 공동체와 상점가를 대상으로 실질적 지원을 확대한다.
대전시는 골목상권 공동체 3곳을 선정해 조직 운영과 자원 발굴 프로그램을 지원하며, 이 중 2곳에 상권 맞춤 사업비 최대 9천만 원씩 투입한다.
공동체는 30명 이상 소상공인(상권 점포 80% 이상 참여)으로 구성돼야 하며, 3월 31일까지 대전일자리경제진흥원에 신청 가능하다.
또 골목형 상점가 5곳을 뽑아 상점가당 최대 6천6백만 원으로 대표메뉴 개발, 스토리텔링 브랜드화, 마케팅 등을 돕는다. 신청 마감은 4월 6일이다.
대전시는 상인 매출 증대와 시민이 머무르고 싶은 골목 환경 조성을 목표로, 4월 중 선정 결과를 발표한다.

Daejeon City to Revitalize Alley Commercial Districts Through Tailored Support
Daejeon City is stepping up efforts to revive stagnant alley commercial districts.
To this end, amidst the contraction of offline commercial areas due to the spread of online consumption, the city is expanding practical support for communities and shopping districts through the "2026 Alley Economy Revitalization Project."
Daejeon City will select three alley commercial district communities to support organizational operations and resource discovery programs, while investing up to 90 million won each in customized project funds for two of them.
Communities must be composed of at least 30 small business owners (with at least 80% participation from stores within the commercial district), and applications can be submitted to the Daejeon Job & Economic Promotion Agency until March 31.
Additionally, five alley-type shopping districts will be selected to receive up to 66 million won per district to assist with signature menu development, storytelling branding, and marketing. The application deadline is April 6.
With the goal of increasing merchant sales and creating alley environments where citizens want to linger, Daejeon City plans to announce the selection results in April.
