충남도가 ‘제28회 논산딸기축제’ 개막을 하루 앞두고, 행정안전부와 함께 현장 중심의 안전 점검에 나섰다. 축제 기간 안전사고 ‘제로(0)’ 달성을 목표로, 위험 요인 사전 제거와 유관기관 간 대응체계 강화에 초점을 맞췄다.
25일 충남도에 따르면, 충남도는 행정안전부, 논산시, 경찰·소방 등 관계기관 전문가들과 합동점검단을 꾸려 논산보건소에서 안전관리계획을 보고받은 뒤 논산시민가족공원과 시민운동장 일대 현장을 점검했다.
이번 점검은 봄 나들이철 대규모 인파가 몰리는 축제의 특성을 고려해 진행됐다. 주요 확인 항목은 군중 밀집도 관리 ,안전요원 배치 ,가설시설물의 구조 안전성 ,비상 대응체계 구축 등이다.
점검단은 개막식과 주말 오후 2시부터 밤 8시 사이 예상되는 인파 집중 구간의 이동 동선 및 분산 대책을 세밀히 검토했다. 또한 공무원과 경찰·소방·자원봉사자를 포함한 580여 명의 안전관리 인력이 현장 운영 매뉴얼을 충분히 숙지하고 있는지도 점검했다.
