충남 서산시가 천수만의 청정 갯벌에서 가족 단위로 즐길 수 있는 바지락 채취 체험을 다시 시작한다. 4월부터 10월까지 여름철을 제외하고 매월 첫·셋째 주 주말에 운영돼 봄, 가을철 힐링 여행 코스로 주목받고 있다.
천수만생태관광협의회가 주관하는 이번 프로그램은 간월도 패류 유어장에서 오후 1시~3시(2시간) 동안 진행된다. 물때에 따라 시간이 조정될 수 있으며, 사전 안내를 위해 부석면 간월도1길 61 협의회 사무실에서 모인다.
참가자는 1인당 2kg의 신선한 바지락을 직접 캐서 가져갈 수 있고, 체험 후 세척 시설도 완비돼 편리하다. 회차당 40명 선착순 모집으로 서산버드랜드 누리집에서 사전 예약하면 되며, 잔석 시 현장 접수도 가능하다.
체험비는 성인·어린이 모두 1만 원으로 통일되며, 서산버드랜드 입장권 제시 시 2천 원 할인 혜택을 받는다. 서산시 관계자는 "천수만 갯벌의 풍부한 생태를 직접 체험하며 자연 속 힐링 시간을 가져보시길 바란다"고 전했다.
