<브레이크뉴스 강원 = 김일웅 기자> 우상호 더불어민주당 강원특별자치도지사 예비후보가 25일 원주 부론일반산업단지를 방문하며 2박 3일 일정의 ‘원주·횡성권 현장 정책투어’에 본격 돌입했다.
이번 일정은 앞서 진행된 영동권(동해·삼척·강릉·속초)과 남부권(태백·평창·정선) 투어에 이은 세 번째 현장 행보다.
우 예비후보는 투어 첫날 부론산단 현장을 점검하고 관계자들과 만나 산단의 발전 가능성과 지역 경제 활성화 방안에 대해 논의했다.

우 후보는 “원주 부론산단은 뛰어난 교통 접근성을 바탕으로 물류 기업들에게 최적의 입지 조건을 제공하고 있다”며, “현재 입주율을 100%까지 끌어올리기 위한 적극적인 기업 유치 전략을 펼치겠다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “기존 지역 산업과 시너지를 창출할 수 있는 신성장 산업 기업을 우선적으로 유치하고, 이를 발판으로 국가산업단지 조성도 적극 추진해 원주를 명실상부한 산업 중심도시로 도약시키겠다”고 덧붙였다.

우 후보의 3월 현장 정책투어는 ▲미래 먹거리 산업 발굴 ▲청년 정책 점검 ▲정주 여건 개선 등 3대 핵심 과제를 중심으로 진행되고 있다.
한편, 우 후보의 이번 원주·횡성권 투어 일정은 25일 원주 부론산단 및 연세대 원주세브란스기독병원 응급의료센터 방문을 시작으로, 26일 횡성 이모빌리티 지원센터, 27일 삼양식품 방문 등으로 이어질 예정이다.
