브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 엔씨소프트는 26일 경기도 성남시 분당구 엔씨소프트 R&D센터에서 제29기 정기 주주총회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
주주총회 의장을 맡은 박병무 공동대표는 인사말을 통해 “엔씨는 그동안 지속 가능한 성장을 위해 사업 포트폴리오 재편과 체질 개선에 매진해왔다”며 “이제 약속했던 전략들이 구체적인 성과로 실현되는 단계다”고 말했다.
이어 “올해부터 Legacy IP 가치 극대화, 글로벌 신규 IP 확보, 모바일 캐주얼 사업 확장 등 세 가지 핵심 축을 통해 예측 가능한 지속 성장 모델을 완성해 나가겠다”고 덧붙였다.
이번 주주총회에서는 사명을 ‘엔씨소프트’에서 ‘엔씨(NC)’로 변경하는 의안이 가결됐다. 사명 변경을 통해 2020년부터 CI 변경과 미션 재정립 등으로 시작한 브랜드 리뉴얼 작업을 절차상 마무리했다.
엔씨는 주주가치 제고를 위한 기업 경쟁력 강화와 주주환원 정책을 이어간다. 2014년 이후 매년 연결 당기순이익의 30%를 현금 배당하고 있다. 올해 배당 총액은 223억 원 규모(1주당 1150원)다.
이 밖에도 정기 주주총회에서는 △재무제표 및 연결재무제표 승인의 건 △정관 일부 변경의 건 △사외이사 선임의 건 △감사위원회 위원이 되는 사외이사 선임의 건 △이사보수한도 승인의 건 △자기주식 보유처분계획서 승인의 건 등 총 6개 의안이 모두 원안대로 가결됐다.
