청소년을 대상으로 지능화·다양화되고 있는 도박 문제에 대응하기 위해 충청남도교육청이 유관기관과 손잡고 강력한 예방 시스템 구축에 나섰다.
충남교육청은 26일 본청 회의실에서 ‘2026 충남 학생 도박 예방 교육 위원회’를 열고, 학생들이 사행성 유해 환경에 노출되지 않도록 돕는 구체적인 실행 과제를 논의했다.
이번 위원회는 올해 추진될 도박 예방 교육의 중점 방향을 설정하고, 관계기관 간의 공조 체계를 더욱 촘촘하게 다지기 위해 마련됐다. 특히 지난해 실시한 ‘2025 청소년 도박 실태조사’ 분석 결과를 토대로, 학교급별 특성에 맞춘 실질적인 대응책을 공유하는 데 집중했다.
주요 협의 안건으로는 2026년도 학생 도박 예방 기본계획 수립 ,실태조사에 따른 맞춤형 교육 콘텐츠 보급 ,도박 위험군 학생을 위한 전문 상담 및 치유 프로그램 사후관리 ,지역사회 협력망 강화 등이 다뤄졌다.
교육청은 단순히 일회성 교육에 그치지 않고, 위험 징후를 조기에 발견해 전문적인 치유로 연결하는 ‘밀착형 지원 체계’를 확립한다는 방침이다.
앞서 충남교육청은 학기 초 도박 문제의 선제적 차단을 위해 지난 17일과 19일, 일선 학교 및 교육지원청 담당자를 대상으로 역량 강화 연수를 진행하며 현장 지도력을 높였다. 이를 통해 도박 문제의 조기 개입이 학생 생활 지도의 핵심 과제임을 현장과 공유했다.
