충남 아산시가 제81회 식목일을 기념해 미래 세대에게 물려줄 푸른 자산을 심는 자리를 마련했다. 아산시는 27일 음봉면 삼거리 일원에서 지역 주민 및 유관 기관 관계자들과 함께 대규모 나무 심기 행사와 산불 예방 캠페인을 전개했다.
이날 행사에는 오세현 아산시장을 포함해 시의회 의원, 산림조합, 전문임업인협회 관계자뿐만 아니라 지역 어린이집 아이들까지 약 300명이 참여했다. 참석자들은 미세먼지 저감 효과가 탁월하고 피톤치드 발산량이 풍부한 편백나무 9000본을 정성껏 심으며 구슬땀을 흘렸다.
