대전 중구가 구민의 삶과 직결된 일자리 문제 해결을 위해 대규모 예산을 투입하며 지역 맞춤형 일자리 대책 추진에 본격적인 시동을 걸었다.
중구는 27일 ‘2026년 일자리창출위원회’를 개최하고, 올해 총 9,900여 개의 일자리 창출을 골자로 하는 연차별 세부 계획안을 심의·의결했다.
이날 회의에는 고용 전문가, 창업·경제단체 관계자, 구의원 등이 참석해 중구의 노동시장 특성을 분석하고, 실질적인 고용 지표 향상을 위한 전략을 논의했다. 특히 여성의 경제활동 촉진과 양성평등한 조직문화 개선안도 함께 다뤄져 일자리의 양적 팽창뿐만 아니라 질적 개선에도 무게를 뒀다.
중구는 올해 목표 고용률을 69.2%로 설정하고, 이를 달성하기 위해 125개 세부 사업에 총 1,698억 원의 예산을 집중 투입한다.
