전명자 더불어민주당 대전 서구청장 예비후보(전 서구의회 의장)가 둔산동 일원을 포함한 서구에서 추진되고 있는 재건축 정책과 관련해 기존의 개발 방식에서 벗어난 ‘생활 중심 정비’라는 새로운 패러다임을 제시했다.
전 예비후보는 최근 출마 기자회견을 통해 발표한 7대 공약 중 하나인 ‘노후계획도시 정비와 생활 SOC 동시 업그레이드’를 언급하며, 재건축의 핵심 가치를 ‘속도’가 아닌 ‘주민의 생활 안정’에 두겠다고 선언했다.

선도지구에 포함되지 않은 지역에 대해서는 리모델링 및 그린 리모델링 지원을 확대하고, 노후 공공시설과 쉼터를 정비해 주거 격차를 해소할 계획이다.
전명자 예비후보는 “재건축 과정에서 세입자나 상인, 아이들이 소외된다면 그것은 결코 성공한 도시 정비라 할 수 없다”며 “구청장이 된다면 정비 사업의 전 과정을 끝까지 책임지고 조정하는 ‘책임 행정’을 펼치겠다”고 약속했다.
