대전시장 도전에 나선 더불어민주당 장종태 국회의원(대전 서구갑)이 고령화 시대 어르신들의 건강권을 확보하고 지역 경제의 새로운 활로를 찾기 위해 전국 최대 규모인 ‘108홀 시립 파크골프장’ 조성을 공약했다.
28일, 장 의원의 이번 공약은 대전 기성동 일원 약 30만㎡(약 10만 평) 부지에 국비와 시비 등 약 200억 원을 투입하는 대규모 프로젝트다.
단순한 체육시설 건립을 넘어 교육, 숙박, 로컬푸드 마켓이 결합된 ‘복합 파크골프 관광 인프라’ 구축을 목표로 하며, 특히 시민이 직접 투자하고 수익을 공유하는 ‘시민참여형 투자 모델’을 도입해 혁신적인 지자체 사업 구조를 선보일 예정이다.
조성될 단지에는 전국 대회 개최가 가능한 108홀 규모의 파크골프장을 중심으로 클럽하우스, 연습장, 대전파크골프협회 교육센터, 로컬푸드 마켓, 유스호스텔 등이 들어선다.
