충청남도가 데이터 기반의 혁신적인 창업 생태계를 조성하고 인공지능(AI) 산업의 활성화를 이끌기 위해 전국 단위의 창업 아이디어 발굴에 나선다.
이를 위해 충남도는 오는 5월 26일까지 ‘제14회 충남 공공데이터 활용 창업경진대회’ 참가 신청을 접수한다고 30일 밝혔다.
충남도와 대전지방기상청, 충남창조경제혁신센터가 공동으로 주최하는 이번 대회는 공공데이터와 AI를 결합해 새로운 가치를 창출할 수 있는 창의적인 비즈니스 모델을 찾기 위해 매년 추진되고 있다.
참가 자격은 공공데이터를 활용한 우수한 아이디어나 제품을 보유한 전국의 예비 창업자 및 창업 7년 이내의 기업이라면 누구나 도전할 수 있다. 공모 분야는 ,아이디어 기획 ,제품 및 서비스 개발 등 2개 부문으로 나뉘며, 심사 위원회는 활용성, 독창성, 발전 가능성 등을 종합 평가해 최종 7개 팀을 선발할 계획이다.
수상팀에게는 총 1,200만 원 규모의 상금과 충남도지사상이 수여된다.
특히 단순 시상에 그치지 않고 기술보증기금, 신용보증기금, 충남신용보증재단 등 금융 유관기관과 연계한 실질적인 금융 지원과 정부 창업 지원 사업 매칭 등 사업화 안착을 위한 파격적인 혜택이 제공된다.
또한, 각 부문별 대상 수상팀은 행정안전부가 주관하는 범정부 공공데이터·AI 활용 창업경진대회에 충남 대표로 참가하는 자격을 얻게 된다.
기상·기후 데이터를 창의적으로 활용한 팀에게는 대전지방기상청장 특별상과 함께 기상기업 성장지원센터 입주 시 가점 혜택도 부여된다.

South Chungcheong Province to Host ‘Public Data & AI Utilization Startup Competition’
South Chungcheong Province is embarking on a nationwide search for startup ideas to foster an innovative, data-driven startup ecosystem and drive the revitalization of the artificial intelligence (AI) industry.
To this end, South Chungcheong Province announced on the 30th that it will accept applications for the ‘14th South Chungcheong Public Data Utilization Startup Competition’ until May 26.
