[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 경기도가 제조 AI 솔루션 개발지원센터 구축 지원사업을 통해 중소 제조기업의 인공지능 활용 확산에 나선다.
경기도는 2025년 산업통상자원부 공모 선정 이후 추진해 온 이 사업의 2차년도 계획을 발표하며 올해부터 제조 현장에 피지컬 AI를 실제 적용하는 단계를 본격화한다.
이번 사업은 제조 현장의 공정 및 품질 데이터를 AI와 결합해 생산성과 품질 경쟁력을 높이는 것이 목적이다. 경기도와 한국전자기술연구원 및 한국과학기술원과 성남시가 참여해 판교 경기기업성장센터에 센터를 구축 중이며 2029년까지 총 151억 원 규모로 진행된다.
1차년도에는 GPU 장비 확보와 현장 중심 교육을 통해 기초 인프라를 마련했다면 2차년도인 올해는 고성능 컴퓨팅 환경 조성에 집중한다.
시는 GPU 서버를 추가 도입해 중소기업이 고가 장비 투자 없이도 대규모 AI 모델을 개발하고 실증할 수 있도록 돕는다.
또한 공정과 설비 데이터를 통합 관리하는 플랫폼을 구축하여 기업이 불량 예측이나 설비 이상 감지 기능을 생산 공정에 직접 적용하도록 지원한다. 아울러 맞춤형 교육을 통해 연간 40명의 전문 인력을 양성하고 연구진이 참여하는 기술 컨설팅을 통해 공정 문제 진단부터 솔루션 도입까지 전 과정을 뒷받침할 예정이다.
