【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=오송첨단의료산업진흥재단 신약개발지원센터(KBIOHealth 신약개발지원센터)는 30일 피노바이오와 국내 바이오헬스 산업 발전 및 바이오 의약품 개발 협력 강화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 양 기간 연구개발 협력과 전문인력 교류 등을 통한 공동 발전을 도모하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
특히, KBIOHealth 신약개발지원센터는 바이오의약품 CMC 관련 개발 전략 수립과 인허가 대응 분야에서 축적된 전문성을 바탕으로, 피노바이오의 파이프라인 개발 과정에 실질적인 자문을 제공할 예정이다.
주요 협력 내용은 ▲바이오의약품 CMC 관련 개발 및 전략 수립 대응 ▲인허가 문서 작성 및 인허가 기관의 보완 요청 대응 ▲전문인력의 지원을 통한 협력체계 구축 ▲기타 필요하다고 상호 인정하는 분야 등이다.

한편. 피노바이오는 항체-약물접합체(ADC) 분야에서 기술 경쟁력을 갖춘 바이오 기업이다.
기존 기술이전한 ADC 후보물질 3종이 모두 임상 단계에 진입했으며, 자체 플랫폼 기술을 기반으로 한 토포아이소머라제 1형 저해 기전의 페이로드 ‘PBX-7016’과 링커 기술을 활용한 파이프라인 ‘PBX-004’ 역시 전임상 단계에서 경쟁 약물 대비 우수한 효능과 안전성을 확인했다.
