더불어민주당 대전시장 경선에 출마한 허태정 예비후보가 30일 중앙당 합동연설회에서 '준비된 시장'임을 강조하며 지지를 호소했다.
이날 허 후보는 현 시정을 '퇴행의 시간'으로 규정하고, 이재명 정부의 국정 철학을 대전에서 완성하겠다는 포부를 밝혔다.
허 후보는 연설 서두에서 현직 이장우 시장의 행정을 강하게 비판했다.
그는 "산업단지 조성과 도시철도 조기 착공 등 주요 공약들이 제대로 지켜지지 않았고, 충청권 메가시티 구상마저 방향을 잃었다"며 "지난 4년은 독선과 무능으로 점철된 퇴행의 시간이었다"고 날을 세웠다.
