[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 통영시는 관내 조선업 현장의 인력난을 해소하고 신규 취업자의 안정적인 지역 정착을 돕기 위해 조선업 신규 취업자 이주정착비 지원사업과 안정국가산업단지 기숙사 임차 지원사업을 병행 추진한다고 30일 밝혔다.
조선업 신규 취업자 이주정착비 지원사업은 타 시·도에서 통영시로 주소를 이전한 중소·중견 조선업체 신규 취업자를 대상으로 한다.
지원 자격은 통영 내 조선업체에 3개월 이상 재직 중이며 신청일 현재 계속 근무하고 있는 근로자다.
사업에 선정되면 월 30만원씩 최대 12개월간 총 360만 원의 정착금을 받을 수 있다.
특히 최초 신청 시에는 취업일 기준으로 소급 지급도 가능해 초기 정착 비용 부담을 크게 덜어줄 전망이다.
시는 이번 사업에 도비와 시비를 포함해 총 1,800만 원을 투입해 최대 5명을 지원할 계획이다.
신청은 연간 4회차로 나누어 진행되며, 1회차 접수 기간은 오는 4월 13일부터 24일까지다.
안정국가산업단지 기숙사 임차 지원사업은 안정국가산단 내 중소기업이 산단 주변의 아파트나 오피스텔 등을 임차해 근로자에게 기숙사로 제공할 경우, 임차에 소요되는 월세의 일부(80%, 인당 월 30만원 한도)를 지원하는 사업이다.
사업기간은 올해 3월부터 11월까지 8개월간이다. 이 사업은 경남도 공모사업에 선정돼 도비 5,000만 원을 확보했으며, 시는 이 사업에 총 5,770만 원(도비 5,000만 원, 시비 770만 원)의 예산을 투입한다.
