브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자가 지난해 취득한 14조5800억원 규모의 자사주를 소각한다고 31일 공시했다.
삼성전자는 보통주 7335만9314주, 종류주(우선주) 1360만3461주 규모의 주식 소각을 결정했다. 1주당 가액은 100원이다.
이사회 당일인 이달 30일 종가인 보통주 주당 17만6300원, 우선주 주당 12만1100원을 기준으로 산출한 금액은 14조5806억2618만5300원이다.
소각 예정일은 오는 4월 2일이다.
삼성전자는 “이번 주식 소각 결정으로 제57기 정기주총에서 승인된 자기주식보유처분계획 내 당사가 소각 목적으로 보유 중인 자기주식 전부를 소각하게 된다”며 “배당가능이익 범위 내에서 취득한 자기주식을 이사회 결의에 의해 소각하는 것으로, 주식수만 줄고 자본금의 감소는 없다”고 설명했다.
