이재명 대통령이 31일 "한·인도네시아 양국은 상호 협력을 통해 평화·번영으로 가는 길을 차근차근 앞장서 닦아야 한다"고 밝혔다.
이 대통령은 프라보워 수비안토 인도네시아 대통령과의 정상회담을 하루 앞둔 이날 공개된 인도네시아 일간 '콤파스' 서면 인터뷰에서 "한국 선진 기술·경제 개발 경험이 인도네시아 인적·천연 자원과 결합 시 윈·윈 경제 협력으로 이어질 것"이라며 이같이 전했다.
그러면서 "이는 양국이 특정 시장에 대한 과도한 의존을 방지하고 경제 구조를 다변화하는 동력이 될 것"이라며 "양국 협력 잠재력은 경제를 넘어 해양 안보·사이버 보안 등 다양한 분야에서 무궁무진하다"고 했다.
또 "국제 관계가 기존 국제 규범·제도가 도전받고 있고 보호주의 확대·공급망 재편 등으로 급격히 요동치고 있다"며 "이런 위기 상황일수록 역설적으로 한·인도네시아 양국 역할이 더욱 빛을 발할 것"이라고 했다.
