대전광역시교육청이 학교 내 감염병 확산을 차단하고 진화하는 청소년 흡연 환경에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 대규모 역량 강화 행보에 나섰다.
대전시교육청은 31일부터 4월 1일까지 이틀간 대전교육과학연구원 대강당에서 관내 모든 초·중·고·특수·각종학교의 학교장 및 업무 담당자를 대상으로 ‘2026년 학교 감염병 및 흡연 예방 역량 강화 연수’를 실시한다고 밝혔다.
연수 첫날인 31일에는 일선 학교장들을 대상으로 정책적 안목과 대응 역량을 높이는 강의가 진행됐다. 동국대학교 유석주 교수는 ‘학교 내 빈발 감염병의 특성 및 대응 체계’를 주제로, 학교 현장에서 자주 발생하는 감염병의 고리를 끊기 위한 체계적인 매뉴얼을 제시했다.
이어 한국담배규제연구교육센터 이성규 센터장이 ‘청소년 흡연 행태 변화와 좀비 담배의 등장’이라는 주제로 강단에 올랐다. 이 센터장은 최근 청소년들 사이에서 확산하는 신종 담배 제품의 유해성과 변화된 흡연 문화를 공유하며, 학교 차원의 기민한 대처를 당부했다.
