총 3억 2천만 원 투입, 대전형 협약형 특성화고 혁신 공간 조성 완료
방위산업·바이오 등 지역 맞춤형 직업교육 기반 대폭 확장
대전광역시교육청은 31일 오전 10시, 대전형 협약형 특성화고인 대전여자상업고등학교에서 데이터 중심 경영 시대를 이끌 인재 양성의 요람인 ‘BI브릿지 센터’ 개관식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사에는 대전시교육청 교육국장을 비롯해 대전시청 관계자, 세계적 클라우드 기업인 세일즈포스 코리아(Salesforce Korea), 지역 대학 및 직업계고 교장단이 참석해 비즈니스 인텔리전스(BI) 분야의 맞춤형 인재 양성을 위한 첫 출발을 축하했다.
총사업비 3억 2천만 원이 투입된 ‘BI브릿지 센터’는 대전여자상업고 창의관 3층에 교실 4~5칸 규모의 대형 공간으로 조성됐다.
센터는 BI라운지 ,씽크아레나 ,BI넥스트홀 ,BI데이터랩 등 총 4개의 전문 공간으로 나뉘어 학생들의 실무 역량을 극대화한다.
핵심 교육 과정인 ‘비즈니스 인텔리전스(BI)’는 기업 내 산재한 데이터를 수집·분석해 전략적인 의사결정을 지원하는 정보 체계를 말한다. 최근 산업계 전반에 데이터 기반 경영이 확산되면서 관련 전문 인력에 대한 수요가 급증하고 있는 추세다.
대전여자상업고는 글로벌 데이터 플랫폼 선두 기업인 세일즈포스와의 파트너십을 기반으로 이번 센터를 구축했다. 앞으로 이곳은 디지털 전문 인재를 양성하는 지역 거점 허브 역할을 수행하게 된다.
센터에서는 지역 기업을 대상으로 인공지능(AI) 및 BI 활용 실무 교육을 운영해 산업 전반의 경쟁력을 높일 계획이다. 또한, 협약 기업 전문가 특강, 산학 공동 프로젝트, 맞춤형 취업 지원 프로그램 등을 통해 학교와 산업 현장을 잇는 가교 역할을 톡톡히 할 전망이다.
현재 대전시교육청은 교육부 지정 협약형 특성화고인 충남기계공고(방위산업)와 대전생활과학고(바이오헬스) 외에도, 지역 특색에 맞춘 ‘대전형 협약형 특성화고’ 4개교를 선정해 집중 지원하고 있다.
이번에 센터를 개관한 대전여자상업고(비즈니스 인텔리전스)를 포함해 대전도시과학고(이차전지) ,대전대성여자고(의료 서비스) ,유성생명과학고(바이오) 등이 참여해 지역 산업이 필요로 하는 실무 인재를 배출하는 데 주력하고 있다.
