충남도가 데이터 행정의 모범 지자체로 자리매김했다.
충남도는 행정안전부가 실시한 ‘2025년도 데이터 기반 행정 실태점검’에서 5년 연속 우수기관으로 선정됐다고 1일 밝혔다.
이번 평가는 중앙행정기관과 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 총 684개 기관을 대상으로 진행됐다. 평가 항목은 ‘분석·활용’, ‘공유’, ‘관리체계’ 등 3개 분야 11개 세부지표로 구성되었으며, 충남도는 전 분야에서 우수한 성과를 거두며 높은 점수를 받았다.
충남도는 특히 데이터 분석과 활용 분야에서 농업 상세 데이터 구축과 월간 빅데이터 분석 체계 운영이 좋은 평가를 받았다.
또 공유 분야에서는 범정부 인공지능(AI) 학습 데이터와 공공데이터 공유를 확대하며 협력 체계를 강화했고, 관리체계 부문에서는 데이터 전담 부서의 격상과 안정적 관리 시스템 구축이 인정받았다.
이 같은 성과는 충남도가 행정 전반에 데이터 분석과 AI 기술을 도입해 정책의 객관성·효율성을 높여온 결과로 평가된다. 도는 앞으로 공공과 민간 데이터를 융합해 정책 현황과 성과를 한눈에 확인할 수 있는 통합 기반 ‘인사이트 충남’을 구축할 계획이다.
전승현 충남도 AI데이터정책관은 “데이터는 행정의 새로운 언어이자 혁신의 도구”라며 “공공 데이터를 사회 현안 해결과 도민 삶의 질 향상에 적극 활용해 데이터 행정을 선도하겠다”고 밝혔다.
