예비모 공급은 각 읍·면 행정복지센터와 영농소식지를 통해 사전 홍보되며, 육묘 실패가 발생한 농가는 군농업기술센터 식량작물팀에 신청하면 담당자의 현장 확인을 거쳐 공급 대상자로 확정된다.
예비모는 5월 말경 공급될 예정이다.
한편, 지난해 가을철 고온과 잦은 강우로 볍씨 여뭄 상태가 전반적으로 불량해 자가채종 농가의 발아율 저하가 우려되고 있다.
