군은 1일 군청 상황실에서 음성읍과 대소읍을 생명존중안심마을로 지정하고, 보건의료 등 5개 분야 19개소 협력 기관과 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
‘생명존중안심마을’ 사업은 기존 군 단위 자살 예방 사업들을 읍면 단위로 세밀화해 추진하고, 지역 내 다양한 자원과 네트워크를 적극 연계·활용함으로써 지역사회의 자살률 감소를 목표로 한다.
올해 생명존중안심마을에는 음성읍, 대소읍이 선정돼 읍내 보건의료, 교육, 복지, 지역사회, 공공기관 등 영역의 기관과 단체 등이 협력 기관으로 참여한다.
생명존중안심마을 참여 기관은 음성읍의 보건기관 3개소를 비롯해 △음성군학교밖청소년지원센터 △음성군사회복지협의회 △한빛복지관 △음성군청소년상담복지센터 △주택관리공단 음성 신천휴먼시아아파트 △설성파크 △음성할인마트 △음성읍 행정복지센터 등 11개소이다.
또한 대소읍의 보건기관 2개소를 비롯해 △대소중학교 △행복동네방문요양재가센터 △대소 주공아파트 △탑마트 △대소읍이장협의회 △대소파출소 등 8개소이다.
지난해 선정된 금왕읍의 20개소와 더불어 올해 19개소 등 총 39개소가 생명존중안심마을 조성을 위해 활동을 하게 된다.
협약 기관들은 △고위험군 발굴·개입·연계 △자살예방 인식개선 캠페인 △자살 예방 교육 △자살 고위험군 맞춤형 서비스 지원 △자살 위험 수단 차단 등 5가지 주요 전략 중 2개 이상에 참여해 지역 자살률 감소를 위한 분야별 역할을 수행하게 된다.
군은 음성군정신건강복지센터를 통해 고위험군의 상담 및 의료기관 치료 연계를 비롯해 캠페인과 자살예방교육 강사 지원, 자살위험 수단 차단 활동 등 협약 기관의 활동이 원활히 이뤄질 수 있도록 행정적 지원을 뒷받침할 방침이다.
